PreSchool (3 year-olds)

Veritas Academy's PreSchool program offers structured and play-based activities where children will be exposed to math, science, and language/literacy concepts. Music, singing, and movement activities are also of great importance as they add a joyful dimension to daily activities and serve as a great mnemonic device.

The Veritas Academy PreSchool seeks to partner with parents as they begin training the habits and affections of their youngest learners. We see this PreSchool year as a distinct opportunity to allow children time to experience wonder, revel in creative play, and deepen their natural curiosity. (There will not be any school@home assignments for PreSchool.)

Meet Michelle

Michelle first joined Veritas Academy eight years ago when she helped create Veritas Academy's PreK program. She brings over twenty-three years of teaching experience, including fourteen years in Early Childhood. Michelle carries a passion for learning and sharing God's light with families. Her philosphy is that children learn best when they are engaged, whether through play, nature, stories, or learning activities, and that formal learning is a natural byproduct of forming positive habits that practiced daily through repetition.
