Defender Dash 2020

Wednesday, April 15 @ 3:00pm  |  Lower Field

This spring we are excited to bring back a past Grammar School fundraiser that has helped our school raise funds for vital student programs. Defender Dash (i.e. a jog-a-thon) will be held on our new lower fields on our very own campus! We are so excited for our youngest Defenders to see and enjoy a part of this beautiful campus that they don't see on a daily basis. After school on Wednesday, April 15th, each student will compete to see how many laps they can walk/run/jog in 30 minutes. We will have older students there to cheer them on and fun snacks and music to encourage them while ensuring the event is fun for your whole family!

What Does Defender Dash Benefit?

  • Tuition Assistance Fund which allows us to partner with families whose children would not be able to attend Veritas without financial assistance
  • Classroom/Instructional Materials which includes technology improvements and expanded classroom libraries and reading materials
  • Student Life which focuses on providing opportunities for mentorship and social events, so that while working hard at school, students also learn the importance of friendship, character, service, and fun
  • Campus Improvements which includes continued development of designated areas for our youngest students to play and explore outside and for our athletes to practice--and even compete--on our new campus
